What your week will look like

TRAVEL DAY
We fly into La Aurora airport in Guatemala City, and then we will take the Chicken Bus (an old School Bus that has been tricked-out by the owner) who will take us to our hotel in Antigua
CLINIC DAYS 1 through 4
We'll see up to 100 patients per day, working to create/update any existing files, take vital signs, height/weight, and then our designated Medical Providers will do what they do best before finally issuing any necessary medications and instructions for followups
DAILY EXCURSIONS
After leaving the clinic every day, timing depending, there are tons of options of places to explore in Antigua.
Our goal is always the people we serve, so some days at the clinic may go longer than planned, but we try to ensure we're able to leave at enough time to give exploration opportunities
ADMIN DAY
We'll have breakfast at the hotel (homemade!) and then travel from Antigua to the Land of Hope in Escuintla, where we will unpack medications and donations, and get the clinic ready for patients the next day
ADVENTURE DAY
One day during the week, typically the middle of the week, we will spend the day doing one or two scheduled outings. Previously we've toured a Coffee Facility, hiked an inactive Volcano, and traveled to Lake Atitlan
TRAVEL DAY - GOING HOME
We'll have breakfast at the hotel, then head out around 8am for the airport.
